We invite you to join us as we seek to fulfil Jesus’ call “to follow me”. It is a life-long journey filled with exciting studies to help us explore and apply God’s Word, to grow us in faith and maturity. To guide us in how to love our neighbors, share our faith and, ultimately, become more like Him.
Life Along the Way:
A daily walk with Jesus. Our sermons in 2023 will be dedicated to the life and ministry of Jesus which teaches us how to be a disciple of Jesus.

Momentum Youth’s mission is to seek, to learn, to serve, and to celebrate God’s awesome love with everyone. Students have many opportunities to grow in their faith with Sunday School, Youth Fellowship, service projects, mission trips, retreats, and year-round activities.

‘Train up a child in the way that they should go’ is the foundation of our Children’s ministry. With discipleship, fun activities, missions, and more, the children’s ministry is alive with the love and mission of Jesus Christ.
The Flock
Ages 18-25
The Flock is a much-needed community group for college students who are seeking God. The Flock ministry meets Sunday mornings for Bible study and fellowship in Room 203/Main Bldg.
The Flock is active in our community and church with service to those in need.

Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. It is based on the actual words of Jesus, the Beatitudes.
St. Clair Prison Ministry
We are excited about what God is doing through the Kairos ministry. This ministry is a battlefield where strongholds are taken down, and lives are changed!
Walk to Emmaus
The walk to Emmaus seeks to inspire, challenge, and equip leaders for Christian action in their homes, places of work, and communities. Interested in joining us on an Emmaus?

Our purpose is to provide an exceptional, faith based curriculum, coupled with a Christian environment that fosters high self-esteem and a safe, loving atmosphere. Kid’s Korner uses the A Beka Curriculum, a Christian based teaching method.

We are excited over how God is making in our community and beyond through the Prayer and Missions Ministries at Guntersville First MC. What a blessing it is to know that lives are changing by our commitment to honor God with our tithes, offerings, talents, and time.
Fellowship, Support, Memory Cafe
Adult Respite Ministries at Guntersville First Methodist are programs and support groups that focus on those who are entering in new seasons of life after loss, and for those caring for loved ones who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, or Dementia.
