Connect My Four

Connect My Four

Guntersville First Methodist Church exists to “Win the Lost and Disciple the Found.” We believe God invites every person into a lifelong journey of growing in Christ. Through Connect 4, we seek to help every disciple take the next faithful step toward a closer walk with Jesus by embracing the timeless Wesleyan Means of Grace—the ordinary ways God shapes extraordinary lives.

As we Worship together, Grow in faith through Scripture, prayer, and Christian community, Serve others in our church, and Reach our neighbors and the world with His love, we open our hearts to God’s transforming grace.

Connect 4 is more than a program. It is a pathway of discipleship—a rhythm of life through which God’s grace forms us into the people He created us to be. Together, we will continually take our next step, trusting that every step taken through the Means of Grace leads us into A Closer Walk With Thee.

WHERE IS GOD LEADING YOU NEXT?

God invites each of us to take the next step in our journey of faith. The pathways below highlight key ways we grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus and experience His transforming grace.

In worship we celebrate God’s proper place—over everything. It puts us in our proper place as people who need God’s love, grace, and guidance through Biblical preaching, music, prayer, tithes & offerings, and the sacraments of communion & baptism.

Mt 22:37 – … love the Lord your God with all your heart …

Mt 28:19 – … baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

As we grow in faith, knowledge and trust in God needs to grow. Bible teaching and interaction with others anchors life in God’s wisdom & deepens relationship with Jesus. Relationships with others sustain and grow faith in the highs and lows of life.

Mt 28:20 – Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. …

Serving puts love into action. We serve in response to what God has done for us. We serve God by also serving others. All followers of Jesus are gifted to serve in advancing the mission of the church. Our life is transformed as we impact the lives of others inside the church.

Mt 22:39 – A second is equally important: ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’

Reaching out to others to illustrate God’s love and invite them to faith and church. All followers of Jesus are part of the great commission to reach others with the good news of Jesus.

Mt 28:19 – Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations..
