SUNDAY MORNINGS
Children–Sunday Mornings/Main Building
Preschool and Children: Your child (Preschool-5th grade) is welcomed to worship with you in the 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Traditional services as well as our 8:45 a.m. Contemporary service.
Birth – Preschoolers: After spending some time in worship, and having a moment with the Pastor, begins our Sunday school hour. The little ones meet for light breakfast and engaging and fun Bible lesson time. The Contemporary Worship service does not include a Children’s moment with the Pastor.
Kindergarten – 5th Grade: On Sundays they meet for a light breakfast and then begin an exciting and wonderful Sunday School experience. Here they are split into smaller groups for the day’s hands-on Bible lesson, games, and more! 10:00 AM-11:00 a.m..
Youth Sunday Classes meet at the Youth Center/521 Gunter Ave. at 10:00 a.m.

The Flock (Room 203)
The Flock is an exciting college-aged ministry group for ages 18-25 people seeking discipleship and community. Be sure to follow them on Instagram and FB.
J. Watts Sunday Morning Group (Youth Center)
Each Sunday morning, this eclectic group will offer an interactive time of fellowship, community, prayer, discussion, and study of The Word led by Jonathon Watts. Jonathon’s teaching style is “deep enough for an elephant to swim yet shallow enough for a babe”. Invite someone to join you this Sunday!
New Couples Sunday School Class (Room 203)
Searching for a place to connect? Look no further! We’ve got a great Couples Small Group. This group will meet during the Sunday School hour at 10:00 am in room 203/Main building. Led by Steve Varnell this group is open to couples who are seeking more! More connection, more fellowship, and more Jesus!
New Life Young Adults (Room 205)
Singles and couples sharing in open discussion about God’s Word. Rotation of teachers.
Scruggs Class (Room 202)
Couples, singles, widows, widowers (all ages) using the Cokesbury Adult Quarterly. Rotation of teachers.
Good News Class (Room 211)
Men and women studying God’s Word and enjoying a relaxed format of questions and answers. Rotation of teachers.
New Beginnings (Room 310)
Adults of all ages are welcome as we look at “The Heart of Jesus.” This is an informal discussion class. Led by Matt Triplett
Cannon Class (Room 206)
Men and women studying Bible passages using the Cokesbury Adult Quarterly. Rotation of teachers. Led by Pat Long.
Oscar Horton Class (Room 312): Men of all ages who enjoy singing and studying God’ Word. This lecture style class uses the Cokesbury Adult Quarterly. Rotation of teachers.
Wesley Class (Room 308): Men and women in this interactive class study books of the Bible and a variety of Christ centered topics. Rotation of teachers.
Logos Class (The Worship Center)
Adults of all ages looking at the truth of Scripture, and the many doctrines both in the Old and New Testaments. This is a discussion style class. Led by Mike Ferguson.
Couples Life Group (The House)
Enjoy fellowship and growing together in their love for Jesus while using a variety of Christ Central materials. This is an informal discussion style class.

Young Adults Ministry (Not currently meeting).
Are you between the ages of 18 and 35? If so, there is a place for you in the Young Adult Ministry at GFMC. This unique group enjoys fellowship and action as they explore a variety of Christ centered topics and offer inspiration, and opportunities for Young Adults to grow in faith and serve together as the hands and feet of Jesus in the world, community, and home.
