MALACHI (For Men & Women)
Tuesday Mornings
9:30 a.m.
Led by Ann Lee
Room 202

The last book of the Old Testament shows us the hearts of a people and nation blessed and chosen by God who strayed from God’s leadership and direction. The era of Malachi was a time when the economy was faltering, crops were failing, the poor were oppressed, families were in trouble, and there was a general disdain for religion (sound familiar?). While it is a book of judgement it is also a book that directs God’s people to the saving work God will do through Jesus Christ. Join with others as we hear a message from long ago that has great application today.

JESUS & WOMEN: In the first century and now by Kristi McLelland
(Women’s study)
REGISTRATION HELPFUL
9:30 a.m.
Led by Penny Maddox
Room 205

“Take heart, daughter.” Matthew 9:22
Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth—braving jostling crowds just to touch the edge of His cloak and hear Him say, “Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you.” Those words, once meant to comfort a hurting woman’s soul thousands of years ago, were also meant for you.
Join Kristi McLelland on those dusty roads as she transports you back to Jesus’ world, stepping into the footsteps of the women who came face to face with the living God. Over 7 sessions, examine the historical and cultural climate of first-century Middle Eastern society to not only understand Jesus more deeply but to fuel your worship of Him today.
