ADULT RESPITE MINISTRIES

Adult Respite Ministries at Guntersville First Methodist are programs and support groups that focus on those who are entering in new seasons of life, and for those caring for loved ones who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, or Dementia; including a new program “Conversations at the Memory Café” that starts September 12, 2023.  We offer support groups for caregivers; and for widows who are saying yes to life after loss.

Acts in Motion

Acts in Motion is an amazing group of women saying yes to life after the loss of their spouse. Meetings are casual, come as you are and open to women of all ages living in Marshall County who seek to encourage and support one another, and find new purpose in this season of their lives.

Acts in Motion meets the 2nd Thursday of each month, at the Youth Center (521 Gunter Ave.) starting at 5:00 PM, (unless otherwise noted). If you or someone you know would like to be a part of Acts in Motion, we invite you join us.
